About the Role:

Our client, a leading player in the retail sector, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic PR Assistant to join their dynamic and fast-paced marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to launch their career in PR and Influencer Marketing, providing support on a variety of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination: Act as the day-to-day contact between our client and their PR agency, managing press office requests and incoming opportunities across all earned media channels.
  • Collaboration: Support various teams to ensure PR opportunities are maximised across all channels.
  • Reporting: Regularly log and evaluate press coverage, compile and circulate weekly PR and influencer reports.
  • Influencer Support: Assist with influencer recruitment and support influencer briefs to promote new products, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Internal Communications: Serve as the first point of contact for store colleagues regarding PR or influencer-related inquiries.
  • Marketing Communications: Assist with internal marketing campaign calendars, company-wide memos, and award entry support.
  • Administration: Manage product requests, circulate influencer assets, handle contracts and photography usage expiry dates, process invoices, and book meetings.
  • Task Management: Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Essential Skills:

  • Early career in PR or marketing, with experience in a PR agency/marketing environment and/or relevant qualifications.
  • Quick learner with a passion for marketing, PR, and influencer marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and personal time management skills.
  • Confident in dealing with colleagues, supplier agencies, and clients.
  • Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in influencers and social media.
