D365FO Developer for MS Partner Client

I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a prestigious Microsoft Partner, who is seeking a talented and experienced D365FO Developer to join their dynamic team. This exciting opportunity is based in Yorkshire, with the flexibility of remote working for the right candidate.

Position: D365FO Developer

Location: Yorkshire (Hybrid/Remote work considered)

Salary: £50k - £70k + benefits

About the Role: My client is looking for a mid-level D365FO Developer with at least three years of experience and a track record of working across multiple projects or client requirements. The ideal candidate will be joining an innovative team and will be expected to engage actively in the design and development process, fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team, engaging in the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
  • Utilise D365FO application knowledge to understand standard features and processes, and test own developments.
  • Manage development environments, including restoring customer databases and applying Microsoft PU updates.
  • Use debugging tools to test developments and understand standard functionality.
  • Translate functional requirements from consulting into development requirements, creating backlog items in Jira.
  • Identify and seek clarification on missing information to complete developments.
  • Formulate and execute initial testing to ensure functional completeness.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with D365FO application and familiarity with standard features, processes, and design patterns.
  • Competence in development environment management and debugging.
  • Strong ability to take specifications and translate them into actionable development tasks.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing backlog items in Jira.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with manufacturing client projects.
  • Knowledge of advanced warehousing/transport management modules.
  • Familiarity with GIT for source control and Jira for agile project management.
