Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Power Apps Developer to support digital transformation initiatives within the public sector. This role will involve the design, development, and deployment of secure Power Apps solutions tailored to meet the compliance needs of government contracts. The ideal candidate is adept at handling the unique requirements of public-sector environments, including security protocols, data integrity, and adherence to strict compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Power Apps Development: Design, build, and maintain custom Power Apps solutions, ensuring they align with public-sector standards and client requirements.
  • Integration and Automation: Implement Power Automate flows and integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft products (such as Dynamics 365) and legacy systems to streamline government processes.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Develop solutions with a focus on data security and privacy, ensuring compliance with government standards (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
  • User Training and Documentation: Create documentation and deliver user training sessions to ensure end-users understand the solutions and can utilize them effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest and implement improvements to optimize existing Power Apps and processes, focusing on increasing efficiency for public sector needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate: Proven track record of developing Power Apps solutions, ideally within government or highly regulated industries.
  • Government Contracting Experience: Familiarity with the challenges and regulations of working on government contracts, including security and compliance requirements.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Integration: Skilled in integrating Power Apps with Dynamics 365, Power BI, and other Microsoft services.
  • Security and Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of compliance frameworks and best practices (FedRAMP, NIST) relevant to government technology solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, Dataverse, and Power Platform customization and scripting.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 certifications are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure Services: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Active Directory, and other Azure services.
  • Public Sector Knowledge: Background in the public sector or government environments, with an understanding of digital transformation initiatives for public services.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to troubleshoot and enhance solutions continuously.
