Senior Technical Consultant and Support Specialist
Salary: From £43,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Location: Remote in the United Kingdom
A prominent digital, data, and technology company is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant and Support Specialist. This not-for-profit organisation is dedicated to enhancing education and research through the provision of hardware, software, and networking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, timely consultancy to members and customers.
- Deliver technical consultancy services and support to members and customers and assist colleagues within the technical services team.
- Create and review internal and external technical documentation, including contributions to collaborative projects.
- Serve as a technical liaison with third-party service providers and internal teams, leading meetings and engagements.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a lead technical development or support role.
- Advanced knowledge in Shibboleth Identity & service provider platforms, FreeRADIUS,
- System administration experience with Linux and Windows platforms.
- Experience with Linux-based applications such as Apache HTTPD.
- Ability to translate complex customer requirements into functional solutions.
