About the Role:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Sage 300 Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support for Sage 300 implementations, customizations, and ongoing system maintenance. This role requires a deep understanding of the Sage 300 ERP system, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with clients to ensure their business needs are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure Sage 300 ERP software according to client specifications and business requirements.
- Conduct system assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Customize Sage 300 modules to enhance functionality and meet specific client needs.
- Provide training and support to clients on the use of Sage 300, ensuring they can maximize the system’s capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Sage 300 software.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, customizations, and user guides.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in Sage 300 and related technologies.
- Assist with data migration, integration, and report generation.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Sage 300 implementations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Sage 300 ERP preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Sage 300 ERP software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and business processes.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing Sage 300 modules (e.g., Financials, Distribution, Project and Job Costing).
- Experience with SQL and report writing tools such as Crystal Reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
