Position Overview:
As an SCM Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving their sales efforts by demonstrating the value and capabilities of our supply chain management solutions to prospective customers. You will be responsible for understanding the unique needs and challenges of their clients, leveraging your deep knowledge of supply chain processes, and showcasing how our solutions can address those needs. In addition to your supply chain expertise, a strong understanding of finance is essential to help clients assess the financial impact and ROI of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Engage with prospective clients to understand their supply chain challenges and objectives, building strong relationships and trust.
- Solution Demos: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations, tailored to each client's specific needs, showcasing how our supply chain solutions can benefit their organization.
- Solution Customization: Work closely with the product and engineering teams to customize and tailor our solutions to meet the unique requirements of potential customers.
- Financial Analysis: Collaborate with the finance team to analyze the financial impact and return on investment (ROI) of implementing our supply chain solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our products and services, as well as industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and finance.
- RFP Responses: Prepare and submit detailed and accurate responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs).
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies, ensuring alignment with customer needs and expectations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, solution configurations, and feedback for internal reporting and product improvement purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Must have experience working for Gold Microsoft Partners
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and optimization.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze and present financial data to clients.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in presales or solution engineering roles within the software or technology industry.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and presentations as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to address customer challenges.
