Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Oak Ridge, Tennessee (On-Site)

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has opened for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's team on-site in Oak Ridge, TN. This role will require you to collaborate with cross-functional teams from manufacturing, quality engineering, and procurement, providing technical support and guidance for various processes. As a key player in the operations team, you will resolve issues, implement solutions, and continuously improve production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide technical support for manufacturing processes.
- Train and provide guidance to the manufacturing and test teams.
- Design and develop manufacturing and testing aids.
- Review and update designs to ensure manufacturability.
- Organize, plan, and maintain production lines to improve efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to reduce production costs.
- Troubleshoot electrical failures and mechanical defects.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including ISO and NADCAP.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Level 1: Entry-level with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Level 2: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Level 3: 5+ years of experience with proven expertise in the field.
- Strong understanding of part and assembly drawings, including GD&T ASME Y14.5 - 2009 standards.
- In-depth knowledge of industry-standard manufacturing processes, inspection, and testing.
- Experience with quality assurance, particularly in MRB and disposition processes.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electronics, use of power and test equipment, and knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in data management systems like SAP, Autodesk Inventor, and JIRA.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, both domestically and internationally.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (2-4 hours at a time).
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Work will be performed in both office and production environments.
