If you are a qualified accountant who has experience within a Management Account role, then this could be the role for you. You will be joining an End-user in the retail sector and work alongside he accounts team to resolve any issues. To excel within this role, you will need experience on the D365 Business Central system.

What you will need:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of D365 Business Central (D365 BC) is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What you will be doing:

  • Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within D365 BC.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to improve financial performance.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Develop and implement effective financial controls and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and systems.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks.
