Responsibilities?

1. Solution Design: Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end users to understand requirements and design appropriate solutions within the Business Central framework.

2. Development: Write, modify, and optimize code using the AL language, which is specific to Business Central. This involves creating extensions, building new functionalities, and customizing existing features to meet business needs.

3. Customization: Customize the user interface, reports, workflows, and business processes to align with the organization's requirements. This may involve creating new tables, fields, pages, and reports, as well as modifying existing objects.

4. Integration: Integrate Business Central with other systems and applications using web services, APIs, and data import/export functionalities. This includes integrating with third-party applications, such as CRM systems or e-commerce platforms.

5. Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing and assist in system testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed solutions. Debug and resolve issues and provide support during user acceptance testing.

6. Documentation: Create technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and user manuals. This helps in knowledge sharing, maintenance, and future development.

7. Upgrades and Maintenance: Stay up to date with new releases and upgrades of Business Central. Migrate existing solutions and customizations to newer versions, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

8. Support and Training: Provide technical support to end users and assist in troubleshooting issues related to Business Central. Conduct training sessions to educate users on new functionalities and best practices.

9. Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new features of Business Central. Attend conferences, webinars, and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
