If you work in people, you know how important it is to offer the right perks for attracting new talent to your Dynamics 365 team. The working world is changing dramatically, and as such, so are people’s expectations. Make sure that the benefits you offer are in line with current expectations of the work force.

Recently, Aviva surveyed 2,000 employees and over 500 employers from varying business sizes to get their thoughts on what really matters to them. Some of the core benefits like job security, a competitive salary and generous annual leave are naturally all up there in people’s expectations, in addition to perks that reflect the increasingly ‘always-on’ working culture, such as flexible working hours and unlimited holidays.

Main priorities

For those working in the London, particularly in businesses with over 500+ employees, salary is still the main motivating factor, so when you’re putting your next Dynamics 365 job spec together, ensure that you reflect opportunity for a realistic, high salary.

Most people looking for new work think that their current salary doesn’t reflect the work that they put in, which is why they’ve been motivated to find new employment in the first place. So set your salary above the average, and you’ll attract the best, most-deserving talent.

Other key benefits include annual leave, which still matters significantly, with a share of 44%, company pension at 41% and flexible work at 39%.

London-specific perks

While according to the data, only 16% of potential employees are interested in free meals as a perk, in London, this figurers to 22%, and subsidised travel (8% outside the capital) rose to 17% inside of it. In other words, depending on where you’re looking to source your Dynamics 365 team from, you might find that there are differing expectations for different perks.

New benefits in demand

The modern workforce’s expectations are changing rapidly, and this means that new perks are beginning to emerge. With the way that people work becoming more agile, and evermore “on”, perhaps it’s no surprise that employees are asking for a wellness allowance (48%).

This is typically a personal fund of between £400 and £1,200 annually to spend on things like gym memberships and mindfulness courses. However, only one-third of employers are currently willing to provide this benefit to their workers. Therefore, being part of that one third could help to differentiate you from your competition and attract the best Dynamics 365 talent for your team.

So there you have it, some of the best perks, old and new, to attract the best Dynamics 365 talent to your London team. If you’d like to speak with a member of our UK team about the candidates you’re trying to attract, get in touch with us here.
