Dynamics CRM has a long, fruitful history of integration with email technologies such as MailChimp. However, it was only recently that Microsoft Dynamics took its first steps towards a full integrated solution for Campaign Monitor – another preferred email marketing solution for marketers.

Introducing Campaign Monitor for Microsoft Dynamics

Having just announced the new partnership with Campaign Monitor, marketers are already looking at ways to integrate this with their Microsoft Dynamics CRM. It will allow users to improve the quality of their campaigns by leveraging the analytics and marketing automation capabilities offered by Campaign Monitor. There are a significant number of features in the new solution which include:
  • A drag-and-drop email builder to create email campaigns
  • Personalised one-to-one marketing campaigns with customer data from Microsoft Dynamics
  • Email templates that work on any mobile device
  • Marketing automation to trigger customer journeys with CRM data; and
  • Rich reporting around email campaign engagement
As you can see, the partnership will launch a solution that is fully-fledged and one that those working in either Campaign Monitor or Dynamics CRM will absolutely appreciate.

A brilliant new tool for marketeers

With Campaign Monitor’s emphasis on small to medium sized businesses, the new partnership with Dynamics CRM makes perfect sense. At no additional cost, Campaign Monitor for Microsoft Dynamics provides marketers with a fantastic new opportunity. According to Kraig Swensrud, Chief Marketing Officer at Campaign Monitor, "Microsoft Dynamics is the CRM of choice for hundreds of thousands of fast-growing companies worldwide." "With Campaign Monitor for Microsoft Dynamics, marketers are empowered to easily create branded and personalised email marketing campaigns that engage customers and drive business results." With the recent announcement of Dynamics 365 and the reveal that it will be released on 1st November, Swensrud has also announced that there will also be a version of Campaign Monitor for the soon to be released CRM-meets-ERM. This all mounts to an exciting proposition for the future of Microsoft Dynamics. With an all-in-one solution like Dynamics 365 having full integration with both Microsoft products like Microsoft Office and Cortana, as well as non-Microsoft productions like Campaign Monitor, Dynamics 365 could be the fabled comprehensive productivity technology that Microsoft has been building towards. At Conspicuous, we’re as excited as you are about the potential of this new technology. It’s fantastic news for Dynamics professions both in development and in the supply chain, and for both Partners and End-users.
