Microsoft Dynamics is a just drop in the Worldwide Partner Conference 2014 ocean, but a potential splash for AX, NAV and CRM professionals. Microsoft’s financial year ended in June, bringing fresh executive overhauls, new strategic priorities and innovative partnerships that are bound to impact the Dynamics network this coming year. What we hope to learn? Some 16,000 people will attend in Washington, which is more or less the capacity of the London O2 arena filled to the brim. We’re attending as fans of Microsoft Dynamics, not partners. We want to further comprehend the market, understand notable projects and products within current versions of the product, chat to clients and gather industry knowledge. We’ll be reporting on all of this during and after the event on LinkedIn and Twitter. Key topics this year
- Integration - keynote speakers are likely to talk about incorporation and amalgamation. For example, Dynamics CRM with Office 365, NAV with CRM and AX with Azure Cloud.
- Mobility – people on the move and new devices will be on the agenda. What new Dynamics applications are going to help us access high-quality information anywhere, all of the time?
- Big data – conversations will occur and reoccur throughout the week about handling different data volumes and types, and how Dynamics can optimise data usage within organisations.
