Our team has put together a practical guide to help Dynamics professionals understand what to do with respect to their careers. Let us know how you and your colleagues are doing in the comments below.
Stay where you are
Normally, we’re very happy to assist candidates looking for new positions but in the current situation, we would recommend that if you have a job and it is not under threat, try and stay where you are.
If your company is financially stable and has work for you do not looking for a new position. Even if you don't get on with your boss, you are looking for better career progression or the commute is a bit too long.
Wait 3 months for the worst of the global crisis to calm down – there are positive signs coming out of China after their 2 month lockdown – and then we will help you move on to a better role. For now, stay safe and stay in work.
Prioritise
Hopefully, your current workplace are being considerate when it comes to your health and safety. We also urge everyone to make a priority list that helps you to rationalise what’s more and less important. An example might look something like:
- Kids
- Partner
- Elderly friends and relatives
- Yourself
- Work
Flexibility is important
As a business, we want you to know that we value your relationship and commitment to us, just as we’re committed to your personal health, safety and well-being.
To help, we’re offering flexibility on our rates and payment terms to our clients, and we are happy to speak with everyone to try and help as much as we can.
Helping our network through redundancy
Of course if you are a candidate and you have been unfortunately made redundant please give us a call. We know the Dynamics opportunity pool is more limited than usual, but it’s not impossible to find work. Clients are still recruiting and we will try our utmost to find you a new job.
